Channel Builder

A channel builder is a feature within the Selectcast management page that allows content owners to create and design the content layout for a channel that will be displayed on the Selectcast Player. With the channel builder, a content owner can create a channel and give it a name and image. They can then add video and audio content to the channel, organize content by adding content into series blocks, and create a live managed feed for the channel. The channel builder also allows content owners to manage uploaded content using a file system and categories, making it easier to locate and organize content.

Channel Builder Page:

Channel builder is a representative of the content that has been allocated to each channel. 

The Channel Builder is split into 2 parts. 

- The top half of the page is the channel and the content associated to that channel. 

- The bottom half is the Content Pool, The content pool shows the category file system that help manage content. 

Block 1 :

Block 1 shows the "live managed feed" of content. Adding content into this section creates a loop of the content that the viewer will see in the player as a live feed video in the channel.

Block 2 :

Block 2 is the Video on demand section to the channel. You can create a Category that you can then add content into. 

Dragging content from the content pool into either block will add the content to that block
