Content Upload

Uploading content into the Selectcast platform is a fairly straightforward process. First, you need to access the Category Manager, which allows you to create and organize categories where your content will be stored. Once you have your categories set up, you can upload your content files into the appropriate category.

When you upload a file, you will need to provide a title, description, content image, and an active image. The content image is the image that will be displayed for the content within a series block on the player, while the active image is the image that will be displayed while the content is playing. The active image can be transparent to allow for more creative freedom in designing the overall look of the player.

Once your content is uploaded, you can easily assign it to different channels within the Channel builder. Simply select the channel you want to add the content to and then assign the content from the appropriate category. You can also organize your content within a channel by creating series blocks, which group together related pieces of content.
